Lateefah Appleberry founded Decoded with hopes to shed light on mental health in the black community. She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wright State University and is a proud alumnus of Americorps, a national service organization.
Lateefah’s personal values are the core concept of Decoded; uplift, encourage, and purpose. She displays these everyday by uplifting people and encouraging our community to find their purpose and live in their truth. Lateefah is also a Juvenile Probation Officer in Montgomery County who enjoys spending time with her family, friends and pup, Duckie.
Brandi McDaniel, co-founder of Decoded, helps organizes and execute our events in the community. She is a licensed practicing nurse who believes that mental health is as important as your physical well-being.
Brandi is the mother of two beautiful children and enjoys spending time with her family, friends and lives in the gym.
Director of Operations
Franco Appleberry, Director of Operations, holds Decoded together; from marketing to merchandise, he makes sure everything operates smoothly.
Franco graduated with his Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Wright State University and a Masters in Mediation from Antioch University. He is a proud father of one beautiful daughter and enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
